Benjamin Meiches is an associate professor of security studies and conflict resolution at the University of Washington-Tacoma. He received his PhD in Political Science and International Relations at Johns Hopkins University.
He is the author of Nonhuman Humanitarians: Animal Interventions in Global Politics (University of Minnesota Press, 2023) and The Politics of Annihilation: A Genealogy of Genocide (University of Minnesota Press, 2019). His publications include "A Political Ecology of the Camp" in Security Dialogue and "Nonhuman Humanitarians" in Review of International Studies.
